Rules, the join door and the dashboard
What it is
Rules are plain words: when someone does X, Gem does Y. The door is each chat's join-request link: people ask to join, and Gem lets them in by your rules and their language. The dashboard counts results and suggests one next step.
How to do it
- Send /myprojects, pick the project, tap Rules and write a rule: "let people into the group after the welcome".
- Pick what people do: open the project, finish the welcome, allow messages, send… Pick what people do: open the project, finish the welcome, allow messages, send the form, ask a question, enter or win the raffle, ask to join, join or leave a chat, invite someone, pay for an offer or get a refund, act in an app.
- Add what Gem does: message them, give a badge, enter them into the raffle, tell… Add what Gem does: message them, give a badge, enter them into the raffle, tell you, let them into the channel or group, post to the channels.
- A rule with a condition waits and fires the moment it's met; the list shows how… A rule with a condition waits and fires the moment it's met; the list shows how many people it fired for and how many wait.
- Send /dashboard, or open Dashboard in the settings of Gem's Mini App:… Send /dashboard, or open Dashboard in the settings of Gem's Mini App: visits by source, form answers, questions and unanswered, people, invites, messages, chats (joined, waiting), posts and reactions, ready stories, and one next step from your numbers, like "45 visitors this week: connect a channel to keep them".
Watch out
- Telegram lets anyone find and join a public channel, past the door; a private one needs an invite link.
- Messages reach only people who allowed your project to message them.
- Only a newcomer's first invite counts.
- Telegram's channel statistics aren't in the dashboard.
With Gem
